Wow!

So, a lot has happened since my last (forever ago!) post. The biggest thing is that God totally blessed me with being allowed to work from home to be with my little one. It was alright in the office, but so much better in our familiar and convenient (baby proof!) environment.

The other HUGE thing that has happened is that Tommy is now sitting up constantly by himself! I lay him down on his belly and 10 seconds later he's sitting straight up playing and watching veggie tales! I can't believe that my little man is already 6 months old! Yup...it pretty much makes me upset! AHHH!!!! He's growing up so fast. Man, people tell you, but I never really believed or understood it.

Our family will hopefully be making some changes soon. If you have come across my blog, please be in prayer that God show us what the best decisions are and that He opens the doors to make everything possible! We know that He always has and always will, this is just really important!

Well, Tommy is getting bored with Veggie Tales and getting mad at his Pooh Bear...so I better go rescue him. God Bless.

I don't have time to write today because we are headed out for vacation and I'm trying to get things finished at the office...hey, atleaste I got everything packed, loaded and the car cleaned out during lunch! My co-worker (Mrs Julie!!!) gave me this poem today. WOW! I can't believe how appropriate. It is like what my heart feels put into words. I love my sweet baby boy.

Alright...I'm for real this time.

So, I saw a pic of me (see below) from about a year ago. It was in New York a couple months before we got preggo, right after we got married. Well, yesterday my hubby saw it and said "Wow hunny! You look so different and young!" Then I replied "It's because I'm now FAT!". Well, after a playful discussion of that's not what he meant, I realized that he really didn't mean it that way, but it was the truth! So...I sit here typing now that today I am starting a new eating habit! NO MORE SWEETS!!!!! I have been eating so much cookies, cake, and anything with lots of sugar or chocolate in it since Tommy was born! Someone told me that it's because of my hormones changing and breast feeding. I can blame it on whatever, but the results are all the same!

I had gotten back to my prepreggo weight by like 3 weeks postpartum, but I feel so bloated and like I'm gaining again! (I soooo don't believe in scales!) I didn't have any of the absolutely amazingly chocolatey fudge homemade cake the kitchen made with lunch!!!! I SO JUST OPENED MY OFFICE DRAWER AND ALMOST GRABBED SOME CHOCOLATE!!!!!!! I HAVE TO GET RID OF IT ALL!!!

Anyways, I just wanted to put this all in writing. So at 5:00 tonight, you won't find me munching on Oreo's, but hitting the track in this HOT Texas weather! LoL. But for real, it's time to get back to looking and feeling great!!!! Ah...it feels good already!

Missing being preggo!

Alright, call me crazy...but I soooo miss being pregnant!!! I can't wait for the next baby! We are going to wait for about 6 more months, but in the mean time...WE CAN'T WAIT!!!! I think my strong preggo desires are coming from looking at my pictures from 2 days before Tommy was born. Ah. I miss feeling him kick around in there. Now he's pulling my hair, putting his feet (and everything else) in his mouth, has the craziest sleep schedule ever...and is just the cutest thing I've ever seen! I didn't think it was possible to love something this much in this way. It's amazing! I can't wait to see how much more love we will have in our hearts and family when it grows even more with each additional precious child. So, I thought I would share a few of my preggo pics with all of my ZERO readers...lol. (someone will read me someday!) Here I am all swollen and ready to pop at 39 weeks and 4 days! Come on 6 months...hurry and pass! Tommy needs a little sister/brother!

WoW!

Ok, so I totally realize that it's been about a week since I've posted (DON'T YOU JUDGE ME FAITHFUL DAILY BLOGGERS...BETH!). I have lagitamite excuses...#1. BABY! LoL. But seriously, Tommy got his shots monday which made him not feel good with a temp for a couple of days...which also translates to constant snuggle time with mommy! Well long story short, he wants that all the time now. AAAHHHHH!!!!! He also loves his new play time of 1am-4:30am. UHG! So, needless to say....I've been tired!

I don't usually have both hands to type to write blogs, or work, but he is sleeping scrunched up on top of me and the keyboard is right under his butt...lol.

Well, I should try to get some work done while I can...we'll see how long it lasts. :)

It's time to teeth!!!

Alright...so I'm evidentally not the only one in our household who is spoiled. I thought it was the cutest thing yesterday! Tommy has been a little cranky sometimes because he is teething. So...daddy went to Walmart to get A (as in one!) teething ring. By the time we were at the checkout, daddy had 6(yes I said 6!!!!) teething rings in the buggy!!! It was the funniest thing ever!!!!! He was walking down the isle saying "Oh, lets get this one...and this one...and this one...Ooh, Tommy will like this one!" I think we're in for a really long (and expensive!) road ahead of us. I guess we need to go ahead and pop out a few more little ones so Tommy won't be as spoiled...unless they are all going to be that spoiled..uhoh...sounds like we might be in trouble. Hhhmmmmm. So tonight I will open the refridgerator to start cooking dinner, and all there will be available is an abundance of cool teething rings....my my my.

TAX FREE!!!

So, this weekend was pretty much filled up with Teen Challenge and...SHOPPING!!!!! We had an awesome time! We got Garett lots of clothes and really nice shoes...and I got lots of shoes and shirts too!!!! We finally ran away from work and spent some moolah!!!!! Tommy did sooo good shopping! The first night he rode around in his stroller with his feet propped up and just hanging out(see picture with fat baby leg rolls!)! He was sooo good!

On Sunday after church he was ready for his afternoon nap, but he still did great! He just 'hung' out with mommy while I shopped like a mad woman! He made a super shopping partner...except for that I couldn't try anything on...oh well (everything fit anyways!!!) He never said "are we done yet??" or "you're spending too much money" or "can we go to the disney store?"...he was perfect. He just shopped til he dropped and took his nap at the outlets!

Garett is a great shopping partner too! Very patient! And we are going to do some more tonight because he doesn't think I got enough...couldn't find any pants and I want some more shirts! (He likes my style and he loves me getting excited and putting new outfits together!) I'm so glad that God blessed me with a man who know that it is one thing to look cute, but when I feel cute...I'm UNSTOPABLE!!! LoL. J/K. I'm just glad that it's important to him that he knows that I feel good about my appearance. OH! And just for the record, I am so not obsessed with my clothes or appearance...it's just nice to look cute and current. I still wear my exercise pants and T-shirts more than anything! Ok, enough about that...wow that drug on...ha.

Praise God for a nice break and for the means tobe able to have fun sometimes! God spoils his kids too!!! Well, I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Love yah!

Well, today we celebrate the love of my life turning on year older! This past year was absolutely amazing, but I know that the one to come will be even more wonderful. I love him so much! He is the best daddy I have ever seen. He truely loves Tommy with all of his heart. He gives him his all and would do anything just to make him happy. My love gives of himself so much. He sacrifices what he wants or would rather do, for others...usually me. I have never felt the love that he shows and gives to me in my entire life. He is truely my soul mate. I thank God every day for bringing him to me.

Apart from the Lord, he is the absolute best thing that has EVER happened to me! I am beyond proud to be called his wife...Mrs Caywood! I am beyond proud to be the mother of his child...Tommy. I am so proud to be one with him. I am so proud to be able to say that he is so on fire for the Lord and His ministry. I am so proud to watch him as the hardest working man I know. I am so blessed to be able to wake up every morning with him laying by my side. I am so blessed to have him supporting me in everything that I do. I am so blessed to be loved by the most amazing man that I have ever met!

YEAH!

So, I totally have to praise the Lord right now. He has created yet another perfect moment just for me. Tommy is asleep, it is totally storming outside, I've got the most delicious salad ever for lunch, and am listening to crosswalk radio...ah, it's so nice. I don't know how long this moment shall last, I guess it all depends on when little man graces me with his awakening!

The only thing that is missing in My Beloved who is working off campus today :( I totally am missing him and his loving smile and warm sweet eyes. I want to see him walk into my office and give me a huge kiss and embrace Tommy into his arms and tell him how much he loves and missed him! Ugh! I soooo can't wait till my hubby bear gets home! In due time...ah.

So until Tommy wakes up, I will continue to prop my feet up and munch on my rabit food while day dreaming and listening to the storm outside. God is so good.

So it's Tuesday!

I totally knew that I wasn't going to have time to post yesterday, so here's an update. We were SUPER busy at the office, then we went home and had homemade turkey burgers and then exercised. We have made a pact and commitment to get healthy! So it's time to cut out all the junk food and have started exercising. Garett just wants to run, but me and Tommy are jogging/walking and pilates...whoo hoo!!!! Time to firm up that baby jiggle!

I put Tommy in his swing this morning while I was getting ready for work, and a few minutes into it he got quite. I went into the living room and he had just fallen asleep...in his swing! IT WAS THE CUTEST!!!! He never does that! He had the cutest 'take a picture of me!' face I have ever seen. So, of course, being the mommy I am grabbed the camera and took pictures until the battery went dead, and then started with the video camera...and yes, we were then late for work! Why do kids have to be so cute!!!! Esp mine!!

Tommy turned 4 months old yesterday :'( I can't believe it!!!! It seems like yesterday we found out that we were preggo!!! Time sure has flown! It started to get emotional, but then we decided to make some homemade sugar cookies!!!! (We only ate 1 a piece of course ;)

Well, Tommy is ready to take his morning nap and is getting fussy...oh yeah, and I should get some work done.

Alright...so I have to admit that I will probably NOT keep up with this...but it's worth a try. OK. So I have another confession, I am currently balancing a nursing baby and a laptop at the same time to try and write a somewhat decent length first subscription here...LoL.

Well, where do I start. I guess with today! We had an awesome morning service today! God is soooo good! I got to lead worship with the team tonight and it went great! The preacher is actually preaching right now, but Tommy decided that he was hungry and was going to let EVERYONE know about it...so here we are!

God is blessing our family so much working here with Teen Challenge. We actually graduated from our training this past Friday. PRAISE GOD!!! :) I will be working with Tommy in my lap with the bookkeeper and Garett is going to be working with the directors. We are actually opening up a new center as soon as they get our fascility ready for us to ship out! They aren't 100% sure our where our location is going to be, but for now we are just enjoying it here.
